The forest

The forest itself is a large, self contained forested area as part of the extensive Cubbington Primary School grounds. The forest offers children the opportunity to experience a wild environment in a safe and contained space. The forest is well established, there is a small stream as part of it and there are lots of opportunities for exploration, climbing and discovery. There is a circle with an established fire-pit. For September 2026 we will install composting toilets, sinks for handwashing, a bell tent for resting as well as forest school staples such as hammocks and tyre swings.

As part of the wider school grounds there are allotments and large fields ready for exploration!
